LBC Label Design – White Bark Pine

I worked with Lillooet Brewing Co. back in 2021 on their first label designs, I recently was able to work with them again on their White Bark Pine Golden Ale.

With files changing hands and working with multiple formats for a while, they were happy to have a freshly built template for this small batch brew that could be used to unify future iterations of the rest of their lineup.

Bringing the Flavours to Life

Bringing the Flavours to Life

WBPGA is a palatable ale with notes of coriander and orange peel. It's fresh with a slight sappy essence to it, making for a refreshing summer brew!

The team and I went through multiple revisions to get the colour palette of the label to represent those qualities, resulting in this lively, bright label.

The OG Design

Back when I first worked with LBC, I developed their initial label designs. From the end of 2020 into Spring 2021, I went through multiple iterations, exploring different layouts and can sizes. We landed on this label design for short cans, marking the first design that went to print!

A Unified Series

LBC's existing labels all had slight variations between them. Building this label allowed me to create a fresh template to apply to new label runs moving forward, eventually transitioning the entire lineup to a matching layout.

An Earlier Iteration

An Earlier Iteration

I pitched a label design that harkened back to the original label design I made.

The defining features of the full length white banner and half-capsule element encasing the main illustration and brewery name.

We ultimately moved away from this design because LBC wanted to keep the design language the same so it matched what they already had on shelves.
